Errand Policies and Terms

-Basic errand rate is $30 per hour.

-There is a one hour minimum. After 1st hour, errands are billed in 15 minute increments, rounding up.

-Hourly rate does not include the cost of any merchandise purchased.

-Mileage included in hourly rate for first 10 miles. Any additional mileage is .44/mile.

-Hourly rate begins at onset of travel and ends at completion of service.

-24 hour notice is appreciated, but we will make every effort to accommodate rush orders for an additional charge.

-Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. A $10 fee will be assessed for cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice.

-We will only perform legal and ethical services.

-Basic services are performed Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30PM, with the exception of pet sitting services, which may require weekend and/or evening visits.

-All client information is confidential and will not be shared with any 3rd party unless requested by the client.

-Payment is due upon completion of assignment. Any purchases over $75 must be paid for in advance. All expenses incurred during the errand (ie: purchases, parking fees and other miscellaneous charges) are the responsibility of the client and are to be estimated and paid prior to the errand.

-Seniors 65 and over will receive a 10% senior citizen discount. (Senior support and services are limited to non-medical tasks.)

-$25 fee for all returned checks.

-Upon delivery, groceries can be put away for an additional $10 fee.

-We accept cash, checks and money orders. Checks should be made out to 'A Better Way'.
